The New York Public Library is amazing. I could spend all day reading random books. The smell is so comforting. It reminds me of when my dad and I used to stop by the Houston library after girl scout meetings. They have a huge room with rows of long tables with lamps for light. Instead of books being open on the tables, it is mostly Apple laptops. The juxtaposition of worn parchment with the shiny sleek computers is interesting. The content presented in both mediums is the same, but it shows how much our world is changing. Just something to think about.
